Jesus stated in John 4:35, “Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh the harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” Jesus was instructing his disciples about fulfilling the Great Commission. At the time he said it, his disciples did not understand its full meaning. Once Jesus Christ had accomplished his ultimate purpose at the cross of Calvary and sealed our victory and salvation through his resurrection. He gave a command in Matthew 28 to “Go” and preach the Gospel.

Jesus said, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” When the command to go was given, the disciples understood that it was time to reap the harvest. God used these verses to speak to my heart in 2004 when I surrendered my life to full time ministry. Now God has directed us through the preaching of His word and leading of the Holy Spirit to reach a spiritually broken people with the only remedy for their peace, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
