God has called to be his ministers to the people of Korea. God has given us a vision to go into South Korea and work alongside current missionaries Jonathan and Rachel Facenda in Daegu, South Korea. Our plan is to assist them in their church plant to help the church to grow while we are in language training. We plan on assisting them in every area they need assistance.  We believe as Proverbs 27:17 teaches, “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” It is Pastor Facenda’s and my hope that the work we will be doing will grow through our combined effort. We will both be keeping each other accountable to the ministry in which Christ has called us, thus adding fuel to the flame that God has already lite in our hearts for the people of Korea.

Our language studies will take about a year or two to complete. We plan on being their under shepherds during this time and when our language learning is complete, we plan on venturing northward toward the boarder region of Goseong, South Korea.  This region is located on the DMZ and is an up and coming area consisting of 300,000-400,000 people. There is no independent Baptist Church located in this region. This will be our primary focus for the start of our ministry. Once the church is established and has significant footing, we plan to establish a Bible institute to train co-laborers to reach the unreachable.

It is our desired hope that the Lord will open a door for us to reach the unreached Koreans situated all throughout South Korea. We know that we serve the God of the impossible, and as such, God can make a way for us to reach the unreachable.  We plan to do anything and everything we can to reach them. Wither that is reaching out to refugees or doing a broadcasting ministry. Whatever the case, we are trusting in God’s loving hands, protection, and leading to fulfill the call of God upon our lives to reach this spiritually broken people with the only remedy for their peace, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
