A Word of Encouragment:

Let me first start by saying that first and foremost God does not have any obligation to answer the prayers of the unsaved. They do not know Him. He is not their Father and does not have to help them. He may in His grace do so, but is under no obligation. So, if you do not know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, I ask you now to repent of your sins (to agree with God and turn from them) and believe the Gospel (The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Chrsit). Without faith in Christ, God may never answer your prayers.

However, if you know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, He has promised to answer your prayers. John 15:7 says, “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” Jesus is giving you a promise to have your prayers answered. It may not always be the answer you want to hear but he has promised to answer them. It is important that you do not doubt the promises of God. If you can trust him for salvation, can’t you trust him for you needs? Surely, the God of the universe can meet your every need. You must be willing to commit to God’s time table. He may not answer your prayer for 30 years, but God will answer and He always comes through because HE IS FAITHFUL!

James taught that it is important for you to first pray for your own needs. “Is any among you afflicted? let him pray.” (Js 5:13) God is not going to answer your prayer if you are not going to pray and make your own request first. We are also commanded to pray for others.  Galatians 6:2 says “ Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Further, There are many more verses that tell us to pray for others (Eph 6:18, Phil. 4:6, Js 5:16). 1 Tim 2:1 says, “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men.” With that being said, we would love to help you pray for your needs. All throughout the N.T. we are told to pray for each other. If you have a genuine need and feel that you need some help praying, we will pray for you. Please send us an email with your request and we will add you to our prayer list. We know that in Gods time and in His will, your prayer will be answered.
